Morales & Besa is now SCLB Abogados

One of the most established law firms in the Chilean legal market is updating its identity as it nears its 35th anniversary. As of today, Morales & Besa is now known as SCLB Abogados.

The firm, founded in 1992 as Bórquez, Morales & Valdivieso, has operated under several names throughout its history. SCLB Abogados marks the institution’s fifth brand since its founding.

“Each of these changes accompanied a different stage in the firm’s history. Now, as we approach our 35th anniversary, we are taking an additional step forward, adopting a brand that does not represent any specific individuals, projecting the firm into the coming decades through an identity that transcends any single generation of partners,” says Carlos Silva, Chair of the Executive Committee.

SCLB Abogados retains its team of professionals, its practice areas, and its client base in Chile and abroad.

In April of this year, partners Guillermo Morales and Eugenio Besa left the firm to pursue a new professional chapter. “We recognize their contribution over the years and wish them every success,” adds Macarena Laso, Managing Partner.

During a transition period, the firm will use the reference “formerly Morales & Besa” alongside its new identity.
